You have to buy a lens with it. The cheapest one is $100, which also means shipping is free. One $1 hood per order. Cannot be stacked with other discounts. That is it.
You have 90 days on the whole order. Email us, you get your money back on all of it, and you keep everything. We do not want the box back. Less than half a percent of people ever ask.
Your welcome email has a code. Use it on any clear lens order, as many times as you need, for as long as you are in school.
If you are learning more than one process and you grind, get an Adjustable 2.0. Shade 8 to 13 on a knob, grind mode, 5 amp TIG rating.
If you are mostly TIG, a Single 2.0 is cheaper, 20 amp TIG rated, and just as clear.
If you run flux core all day, a 2-Tone passive has no electronics to fry.
The lens is ANSI Z87.1+, CE EN379 and CSA Z94.3. The hood is a standard 2 x 4.25 pipeliner. If your school allows pipeliner hoods, you are fine. Ask your instructor if you are not sure.
